THE COMMUTER How does the sound create genre? The tension increases dramatically which is common in the thriller genre.When the woman stops talking the action begins and the music speeds up and moves with liem nesons character. How does the sound help the narrative? It helps to show a clear story line. Its shows that the woman has a lot of power and this movie contains a lot of violence and protntialy death but we don't see that in the trailer. Is this sound typical for the thriller genre? The sound effects used in this trailer for the movie "The commuter" are also used in other thriller movies so its very common and doesn't make it really any different from the other films.
